Qualifications and experience:

  • Strong understanding of and exposure to the ICT industry
  • A proven sales track record and ability selling ICT solutions
  • At least 10 years experience in a similar position

  • Ability to conceptualize and articulate an ICT solution

  • Microsoft windows applications
  • HP and IBM server infrastructure
  • Datacenter services
  • Radio networks
  • ISP business
  • Telephony and VOIP solutions
  • Office automation solutions


  • Ensure that a professional business enablement (pre-sales) department responds / delivers the appropriate business cases / RFPs / proposals, etc
  • Ensure delivery of sales targets for the business unit
  • Initiate / develop business development solutions for the various markets / segments
  • Assist in developing a business model for new products and services and other initiatives in existing and other industries
  • Proactive engagement with clients and the market with a view to growing awareness and visibility of managed ICT services, products and capabilities
  • Leading the technical and sales process in closing deals
