Midrand: Demand Planner / Estimator
Reporting to the Marketing analyst, the successful candidate will carry the responsibility to drive accurate forecasts that meet top line sales, category and company objectives ensuring that monthly sales and campaign plans meet the overall sales and financial objectives of the company.
To optimize inventory and manage national inventory holding to within agreed parameters.
The right amount of stock to be available in the correct depot timeously to avoid lost sales due to being out of stock.
The successful candidate will undertake the following duties (Amongst others)
· Champion forecasting process
· Manage SKU monitor process
· Competitor Analysis
· Champion on time delivery of inventory to depots
· Champion Excess Stock Reduction and Manage Aging Inventory
Education and Experience:
B. Comm or Industrial Engineering degree
2-3 years in a forecasting environment including responsibilities for inventory, financial indicators and exposure to Marketing planning and strategies in a direct selling environment (in a direct selling environment)
3-5 years experience if not from a direct selling environment
