The Product Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting product development and
management activities. Oversees project plans and maintains appropriate documentation needed for key decisions and implementation hand-off. Act as a project manager on projects tied to the product roadmap. Assist with market research, business analysis and adhoc reporting on product status. Also assist the Product Manager with setting up, communicating and tracking all projects.

Responsibilities

To successfully perform this job, the individual must be able to perform the following job
responsibilities satisfactorily

Assisting with the development and maintenance of the product roadmaps and business
plans as directed.

Create and maintains project documentation for key product initiatives and maintains
policy and procedure documentation for product design activities.

Completes approvals/agreements, project plans, impact assessment and other product
documents as needed.

Maintain Project Risk register

Coordinate with engineering team and various units to stay abreast of product
development and deployment, to ensure products are completed in advance of release
dates

Participate in tactical activities with Marketing team on product updates and new feature
launches

Serves as a liaison to the market research area, identify research needs, prioritize and
produce market research to inform product planning

Provide status update, reports and other documentation related to product performance

Attend regular meetings with the Product Manager and other service providers.

Ensure projects are run within budget and allocated time-line

Give technical input to proposals.

Act as a Product Council secretary

Experience

A National Diploma in Business or Marketing with a minimum 3 years of product or
project management related experience is required

Must have experience in coordinating projects and working as part of cross functional
team

Experience in with Microsoft Office suite is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary

Ability to handle multiple tasks with specific deadlines is a must

Successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work well independently as well as
working effectively in a team environment

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work under pressure.
